Description
Crafted in 18ct yellow gold during the late Victorian period, this beautiful five stone ring is set with a central row of alternating round cut sapphires and hand cut old mine cut diamonds. Three richly coloured sapphires are complemented by two antique old mine cut diamonds, displaying the soft champagne tones and distinctive faceting so admired in hand cut gemstones of the period.
Each stone is individually claw set within a beautifully pierced open gallery, a hallmark of traditional craftsmanship that allows light to pass through the gemstones while creating an elegant profile. The gently tapering shoulders complete the timeless design, placing the focus firmly on the vibrant sapphire and diamond arrangement.
