This 9ct gold antique seed pearl and sapphire brooch, likely crafted in the early Edwardian era, beautifully combines influences from both the Edwardian and Art Nouveau periods.
The design features an elegant layered oval shape, with delicate clusters of seed pearls at the centre.
The brooch is further embellished with three round cut sapphires, one of which dangles gracefully beneath the design, adding a touch of movement.
Organic flower and vine motifs flow around the piece, with intricate swirl patterns woven between the gold layers, reminiscent of the Art Nouveau style’s emphasis on nature-inspired forms.
