Description
This Edwardian ring features a central row of five oval almandine garnets, with the end stones set horizontally to create a gentle taper along the shank. Between each garnet sits a small seed pearl, offering a soft contrast to the rich, wine-red tones of the stones.
The gallery beneath is adorned with delicate scrollwork, while hand-engraved patterns continue along the band, adding to its refined period charm.
A lovely example of early 20th-century craftsmanship.
Hallmarked 1916 Birmingham
Antique piece. The ring shows wear consistent with its age, including wear to the stone settings such as missing claws and a central stone that has sunken slightly into its mount. The stones themselves are in overall good condition with lighter surface wear. The band has a flatter, misshapen form from years of wear. A truly well-loved piece of antique jewellery.
